Brezposelnost se je na območni službi Maribor v mesecu februarju v primerjavi s februarjem lani za  13,9 odstotka.

Dinamika zmanjševanja brezposelnih sovpada s trenutno situacijo negotovosti, saj je ohranitev večine delovnih mest odvisna od vladnih ukrepov. Najbolj zaskrbljujoče je v sektorju gostinstva in turizma, kjer beležijo velik porast brezposelnih.

Tako bodo po besedah Memona za reševanja tega sektorja načrtovati tudi posamezne ukrepe v okviru nadaljnjih protikoronskih paketov.

Povpraševanje po interventnih ukrepih čakanja na delo doma in skrajšan delovni čas je še vedno v porastu.

Minister za delo Janez Cigler Kralj je poudaril, da je zaradi epidemioloških razmer vladi predlagal tudi podaljšanje obeh ukrepov do konca junija.
