Nova definicija za prijavo in spremljanje novega koronavirusa

Ministrstvo za zdravje je v sodelovanju stroko pripravilo novo definicijo za prijavo in spremljanje novega koronavirusa. Pri blagi klinični sliki bodo opravili testiranje na novi koronavirus pri osebah starejše od 60 let; pri osebah, ki imajo visok krvni tlak in/ali sladkorno bolezen, pa tudi druge srčno – žilne, pljučne, ledvične in težje jetrne bolezni ter pri vseh osebah z imunskimi pomankljivostmi, ne glede na njihovo starost.
Pri vseh ostalih osebah z blago simptomatiko predlagamo testiranje po presoji družinskega zdravnika oziroma pediatra. Odločitev naj bo v prid testiranja, še posebej v okoliščinah, ko partner/starši osebe z blago klinično sliko spada v skupine tveganja ali je zaposlen na zelo izpostavljenem delovnem mestu: v bolnišnici, v Domu starejših občanov, v zavodih s prizadetimi osebami, na drugih pomembnih mestih.
Ponovno testiranje bolnika pa se izvede glede na klinični potek bolezni. Če okužba poteka brez zapletov, vnovično testiranje ni potrebno. Po 14 dneh od začetka simptomov se bolnika obravnava kot nekužnega.
Testirajo tudi oskrbovance v domovih za starejše in v socialno-varstvenih zavodih, če imajo znake ali simptome akutne okužbe dihal (z ali brez vročine).
