Razpis za financiranje športa v Mariboru še vedno buri duhove. Številna društva se čutijo oškodovana. Mnogi med njimi menijo, da člani komisije, ki je delila finančna sredstva, nimajo ustreznih referenc, niti ne poznajo delovanja teh športnih društev, zato zahtevajo revizijo.

Na občinski razpis za sofinanciranje letnega programa športa je prispelo 105 vlog in nekateri med njimi so ostali praznih rok.

Tako so mnogi mestno oblast pozvali k reviziji omenjenega razpisa. Dodatno pa zahtevajo tudi, da se delo komisije revidira in objavi rezultate na pregleden in transparenten način.

Na minuli seji je pobudo za revizijo podala Vladimira Cokoja, a župan ji je na pobudo odgovoril, da bi bilo najbolje, da tega denarja ne bi bilo, pa ne bi bilo samih nesrečnikov.

A to ni edini razpis, ki med poznavalci buri duhove. Podobno je tudi pri štipendiranju. Okoli štiri milijone evrov nameravajo letos razdeliti med najmanj 95 športnih društev, klubov in zvez.
