Sedma karierna tržnica je letos potekala preko spleta. Zainteresirani študentje in delodajalci so se lahko virtualno srečali na hitrih razgovorih. Tako so imeli iskalci zaposlitve možnost na enem mestu spoznati več potencialnih delodajalcev in njihove organizacije, obenem pa so jih lahko povprašali po njihovih pričakovanjih in možnostih zaposlitve.
Čeprav so predvideli številne delavnice, predavanja in karierni sejem, pa so morali ponudbo prilagoditi razmeram koronakrize in ukrepom, ki prepovedujejo množično zbiranje.
Koronavirus pa je tudi pri karierni tržnici pustil posledice, saj se je tekom načrtovanja karierne tržnice, kar 75 odstotkov delodajalcev odločilo, da pri dogodku ne bodo sodelovali.
Manjši interes pa je bil tudi med študenti, ki so se v preteklosti množično udeleževali karierne tržnice.
Karierni center Univerze v Mariboru ponuja raznovrstne aktivnosti za študente, diplomante in delodajalce. Med drugim ponujajo številne delavnice, svetovanja in ostale aktivnosti, ki jih zaradi ukrepov omejitve koronavirusa izvajajo preko spleta.
