Literary and Painting Competition “Friend of the Bees”

We received an invitation from the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in London to participate in a literary and painting competition for children and young people in the United Kingdom.

“These days, as the daily lives of most of us are shaped by the coronavirus, we are all even more aware of the importance of nature for the preservation of life on earth and for the well-being of its inhabitants.

As bees play an important role in ecological balance and biodiversity, we are especially proud that the United Nations General Assembly in New York, at the initiative of Slovenia in December 2017, unanimously adopted a resolution declaring 20 May World Bee Day.

In order to spread this awareness among young people, we are announcing a literary and painting competition entitled 'Friend of the Bee' and we invite you to celebrate the third World Bee Day together.
