The University of Maribor is celebrating 45 years of existence. As a sign of honoring this jubilee, the members of UM prepared a ceremony at which, in addition to awards and recognitions, students were also awarded honorary titles of deserving professors. The latter became prof. dr. Jana Goriup, Ph.D. dr. Ludvik Toplak and prof. dr. Wolfang Jelinek from the University of Graz.
The University of Maribor is celebrating its 45th anniversary, so its members prepared a ceremony today to celebrate this jubilee.
At the ceremony, in addition to awards and recognitions for students (Leon Štukelj's Badge and Plaque; documents for achievements in extracurricular activities, cultural achievements and achievements in the framework of voluntary activities), the honorary title of Distinguished Professor was also awarded.
At the suggestion of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Maribor, the title of Professor Emeritus was awarded to prof. dr. Jana Goriup, and at the suggestion of the Faculty of Law prof. dr. Ludvik Toplak.
The highest award, honorary doctor of the University of Maribor, was also awarded at the suggestion of the Faculty of Law by prof. dr. Wolfang Jelinek from the University of Graz. , who with his experience and rich academic work significantly contributed to the international recognition of the faculty, and with great zeal passed on his knowledge to the students of UM.
